Striker Kylian Mbappé is leaving Paris Saint-Germain and is expected to join Real Madrid. The Frenchman revealed this Wednesday that the official announcement of his new club should take place in the next few days.
“When will my next club be announced? It’s a matter of days. I think it will soon be official and I just want to enjoy this time without a club. I have a contract with PSG, so someone pays me for the moment”, he said in an interview with CNN.
Mbappé started his career at Monaco and then left for PSG, both in France. Because of this, he spoke about the expectation of playing for a club outside his country for the first time.
“I want to be happy, I’m leaving my country for the first time in my life and I’m very excited. It’s going to be an incredible experience and I’m looking forward to joining my new club.”

The star has already officially announced his departure from the Parisian club and, it seems, will arrive at Real Madrid. He also revealed that he was looking forward to joining the new team.
“I can’t wait to be with my new team. I want to win trophies, be with my new teammates… But, as a man, I want to be happy. I want my family to be happy, to enjoy the moment with me and to enjoy my career” , he stated.
Last season, Mbappé played 48 games, scored 44 goals and provided 10 assists. In total, Kylian won six French Championships, four French Cups, two French League Cups and three French Super Cups with Paris Saint-Germain.
His likely new club, Real Madrid, is preparing to play in the Champions League final. The Merengue team will face Borussia Dortmund this Saturday, at 4pm (Brasília time), at Wembley, England.
