The rematch between the absolute world heavyweight boxing champion, Ukrainian Alexander Usik, and Briton Tyson Fury will take place on December 21. The date was announced by the Chairman of the General Authority of Entertainment of Saudi Arabia, Turki Al Al-Sheikh on the social network X.
The fight will take place in Riyadh. “The world will again see a historic fight. We continue to fulfill our commitment to boxing fans,” said Al ash-Sheikh.
The first fight between Usik and Fury took place on the night of May 19 in Saudi Arabia. The fight lasted all 12 rounds and ended with the victory of the Ukrainian by a split decision – 115-112, 113-114, 114-113.
Usik won his 22nd fight in the professional ring and remains undefeated. For Fury, this defeat was the first in his professional career with 34 wins and one draw.
