Spain coach releases squad list for Euro 2024

Coach Luis de la Fuente announced this Monday the list of players who will defend Spain in the 2024 Euro Cup, scheduled to start on June 14th. 29 athletes were called up, so three will be cut after the friendlies against Andorra and Northern Ireland, which take place a few days before the continental competition.

The list includes some of Barcelona’s main names, such as: defender Pau Cubarsí, midfielders Farmín López and Pedri and attackers Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal. Real Madrid will have three representatives: defender Nacho Fernández, right-back Carvajal and striker Joselu.

Alongside Barcelona, ​​Real Sociedad is the club that will provide the most athletes for the Spanish national team, with five names: goalkeeper Remiro, defender Le Normand, midfielders Zybumendi and Mikel Merino and striker Oyarzabal.

Spain appears in Group B of the European Championship to be held in Germany. The group also includes Croatia, Italy and Albania, led by Brazilian Sylvinho.

Spain’s debut will be on June 15, at 1 pm (Brasília time), against Croatia, at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
