Commentator Guberniev responded to the insults of Rostov goalkeeper Pesyakov
Well-known Russian commentator Dmitry Guberniev called critics of Rostov goalkeeper Sergei Pesyakov fools. The journalist made this comment in the Match TV studio after the match of the final 30th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL), in which Rostov met with Zenit St. Petersburg.
“We had to score. Those who write nasty things to Pesyakov are simply fools,” Guberniev said.
With the score 1:1, Pesyakov made a mistake and missed the ball, as a result of which Zenit beat Rostov with a score of 2:1 and won the Russian championship for the sixth time in a row. Krasnodar took second place in the RPL.
Earlier, Dmitry Guberniev called those who did not want to support the Russians at the Olympic Games empty talkers and sofa bawlers. According to the journalist, citizens who love Russian sports and the country will watch the competitions and root for the athletes in a neutral status.
