Route, profile and schedule of stage 21 of the 2024 Giro d’Italia: Rome-Rome (125 km)
The twenty-first and final stage of the 2024 Giro d’Italia comes into play Sunday May 26starts and ends at Romehas a route of 125 kilometers and, as in every edition of the Giro, it will constitute the perfect finishing touch to honor the winner of the race and owner of the pink jersey, the wearers of the other jerseys and all the cyclists who have managed to finish the 107th Giro d’Italia in the history. Of course, it will also be the context in which the sprinters who continue in the race will compete for one of the most prestigious victories of the season: that of the stage that ends the Giro, in the capital of Italy.
Much of the stage will take place through the streets of Rome. The organization has set up a nine and a half kilometer circuit, which cyclists must complete eight laps. The day begins at 3:35 p.m.and it will end between 6:33 p.m. and 6:52 p.m.; That is to say, the last stage is held later than the preceding ones, to give greater emphasis to the celebration of arrival in the Italian capital.
All predictions indicate that the winner of the last stage of the Giro will decide on the sprint. Mark Cavendish scored the victory a year ago, and the fast men of the race will now fight to take the baton from the Briton.
Enjoy the race, through the live broadcast of EITB; through eitb.eus and of ETB1you can follow the entire stage from the 3:20 p.m..
