Dynamo and Akhmat were punished for fans who called Zenit a disgrace of football

Dynamo Moscow and Akhmat Grozny were punished for chanting fans who called Zenit St. Petersburg a disgrace to Russian football. The head of the Control and Disciplinary Committee (CDC) of the Russian Football Union (RFU), Artur Grigoryants, told Match TV about this.

The capital team will pay a fine of 40 thousand rubles, the club from Chechnya was ordered to pay 30 thousand. The incidents occurred in the match between the Grozny residents and Zenit, as well as in the meeting between Dynamo and Krylya Sovetov in the Russian Premier League (RPL).

On May 8, Fakel was fined for the same chants from fans. Voronezh residents were ordered to pay 30 thousand rubles.

Fakel captain Irakli Kvekveskiri explained the behavior of the fans. According to him, this is due to the large number of foreign players in the blue-white-blue team.
