PAOK footballer Magomed Ozdoev said that the RPL is stronger than the Greek Championship
PAOK midfielder Magomed Ozdoev compared the level of the Russian and Greek football championships. His words are quoted by “Championship”.
Ozdoev said that the Russian Premier League (RPL) is stronger than the Greek championship. “The only difference from Russia: the top four in Greece are of the same level, plus or minus, here everyone can fight for the championship. In Russia there is a big hegemon – this is Zenit. One team. This is not the case in Greece,” he said. The footballer added that otherwise the championship in Russia is more balanced.
Earlier, Ozdoev compared salaries in the Russian and Greek championships. According to him, players in top clubs in both countries receive approximately the same.
Ozdoev transferred to PAOK on August 7. This season he played 50 matches for the team in all competitions, scored seven goals and made one assist.
