“Match TV”: hockey player Alexander Ovechkin has no debt to the Federal Tax Service
The Russian forward of the National Hockey League (NHL) Washington Capitals club, Alexander Ovechkin, has no debt to the Federal Tax Service (FTS) of Russia. A refutation was published by Match TV, which cites a source close to the player.
According to him, information about the debts appeared due to a technical error. “The individual entrepreneur does not conduct commercial activities; it only has patents for Alexander’s trademarks. Our accountant is looking into this now,” the source said.
Mash previously reported Ovechkin’s debt in the amount of 49 thousand rubles. It was clarified that in connection with this the player’s company account was blocked.
Ovechkin has been playing in the NHL since 2005, and throughout his overseas career he has played for Washington. The Russian is the 2018 Stanley Cup winner.
