The Russians have named the leaders of 2021 in the sports industry. The results of a survey by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM) are published on the organization’s website.
The first place in the rating was shared by gymnast sisters Arina and Dina Averina and tennis player Daniil Medvedev. Four percent of Russians voted for them. Three percent of the respondents noted the success of skier Alexander Bolshunov.
On December 17, the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM) announced the results of the annual survey “Person of the Year 2021”. Mixed style fighter (MMA) Khabib Nurmagomedov became the leader in Russian sports. For the former champion of the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC), three percent of respondents voted.
