Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah said this Tuesday that he wants to win titles with Liverpool next season, despite the English press reporting interest from Saudi Arabian clubs in signing him.
“We know that what counts are trophies and we will do everything possible to make that happen next season,” the Liverpool star posted on the platform Xtalking about his objectives for the 2024/2025 season, at the end of which his current contract with the club expires.
“Our fans deserve it and we will fight like hell,” Salah added.

This season, Liverpool were champions of the English League Cup, despite having played in three other competitions, which they escaped due to the team’s negative streak in April.
According to the British press, the English club last year rejected a proposal of 175 million euros (R$969 million) from the Saudi club Al-Ittihad for Salah.
Next season will be the Egyptian striker’s first at Liverpool without manager Jurgen Klopp, who left Anfield after eight years. His successor will be Dutchman Arne Slot, who was at Feyenoord.
