Ederson’s time at Manchester City may be in its final stages. According to information from the journalist Fabrizio Romanothe Brazilian goalkeeper could leave the English club if a good offer arrives.
Saudi clubs are already showing interest in the signing, and Ederson will evaluate the options at the end of the season. The archer has a contract with Manchester City until June 2026.
Ederson has suffered from injuries this season. In March, he was absent from the team for around a month and, more recently, in City’s penultimate game, against Tottenham, the goalkeeper suffered a fractured face.
In fact, the first injury took Ederson out of Brazil’s friendlies against England and Spain, while the second caused the archer to be cut from the Copa América, which starts in June. To replace him, coach Dorival Júnior called up Rafael, from São Paulo.

With the Brazilian’s injuries, goalkeeper Ortega has taken advantage of the opportunities received by Pep Guardiola very well. In the game against Tottenham, he saved his team after saving a ball in which he came face to face with Son. The goal would tie the match, and Arsenal would remain leader of the English Championship.
Ederson will be left out of Manchester City’s last commitment of the season. The club led by Guardiola faces Manchester United next Saturday, at 11am (Brasília time), in the FA Cup final.
