Rower Virginia Díaz qualifies for Paris 2024

The Basque Team t-shirt Virginia Diaz achieved victory in the final of single sculls of the rowing pre-Olympic that concludes this Tuesday in the Swiss city of Lucerne and achieved qualification for the Paris Games.
Díaz went from less to more and, after the first 500 meters, he placed himself in the first positions to fight for the victory and the Olympic classification, which he signed with the first position after passing the Swiss Aurelia-Maxima Janzen in the final stretch. She finished with a time of 7:48.16, followed by the Swiss, at 1.69 (7.49.85), who also achieved the Olympic ticket.
Previously, in the lightweight double sculls final, the clear victory went to the French Clare Bove and Laura Tarantola with a time of 7:02.54.
