CSKA announced the departure of defender Kirill Nababkin from the team at the end of the season
The Moscow football club CSKA announced on its website the departure of defender Kirill Nababkin, who played for the army team for 14 seasons, from the team.
The 37-year-old player will leave the club at the end of the 2023/2024 season. His last match will be a home match with Ural on May 25. “This day will be special for us – Kirill Anatolyevich played 323 matches for the team, won nine trophies and fell in love with tens of thousands of fans,” CSKA noted in the statement.
This season, Nababkin played 20 matches in all tournaments, scoring one assist. After 29 rounds of the Russian Championship, CSKA is in sixth place with 45 points.
Nababkin has been playing for CSKA since 2010. As part of the capital’s club, he became a three-time champion of Russia, winner of three Cups and three Super Cups of the country.
