Footballer Artem Dzyuba said that boxer Usik deserved a victory over Tyson Fury
Lokomotiv Moscow forward Artem Dzyuba on Instagram (the social network is banned in the Russian Federation; it belongs to the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in Russia and is banned) appreciated the victory of Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usik over Briton Tyson Fury.
“To be honest, these are two geniuses. Well done, Usyk. He deserved it, though. “Crying,” said the football player. He called Usik a Slavic warrior and emphasized that he predicted the Ukrainian’s victory by a split decision.
On the night of May 19, Usik defeated Fury in a fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion in Saudi Arabia. The fight lasted all 12 rounds. It ended with Usik winning by split decision – 115-112, 113-114, 114-113.
This is Fury’s first defeat in his professional career after 34 wins and 1 draw. Usik won his 22nd fight in the professional ring and remains undefeated.
