The goals
In the 25th minute of the first half, Torino opened the scoring. Ricardo Rodríguez received it on the left and crossed to Zapata, who headed it into the goal.
The home team expanded in the 39th minute of the initial stage, in a similar move to the first goal. Raoul Bellanova advanced from the right and passed the ball high to Ivan Ilic, who headed free to find the net.
20 seconds into the second half, Torino scored their third goal. After a dispute over the top in the middle, the ball fell to Ricardo Rodríguez, who finished from outside into the right corner, scoring a great goal.
Milan managed to pull one back ten minutes into the final half. Pulisic advanced down the right and was brought down in the box by Adam Masina. The referee awarded a penalty and Bennacer converted.
Atalanta beats Lecce and guarantees place in the Champions League
In this Saturday’s other game in the Italian Championship, Atalanta beat Lecce 2-0, away from home. The goals were scored by Charles De Ketelaere and Gianluca Scamacca.
With the result, Atalanta, fourth placed, reached 66 points and guaranteed qualification for the next Champions League. Lecce occupies 13th place, with 37 points.
Now, Atalanta is focusing on the Europa League final, against Bayer Leverkusen, which will be held this Wednesday, at 4pm (Brasília time), at the Aviva Stadium, in Dublin, Ireland. While Lecce visits Napoli on the 26th in the last round of the Italian Championship.
