Determined to move from the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain is considering building its future stadium on the premises of the Saint-Cloud racecourse, a city on the outskirts of Paris, he told AFP a source close to the club’s board of directors this Saturday, confirming information from the newspaper The Team.
In February, the club’s Qatari president, Nasser Al Khelaifi, announced that the departure of the Parc des Princes, which Paris city hall refuses to sell, would become inevitable. This decision was reaffirmed this Saturday by that source.
Since then, PSG has been studying different options to build a new stadium, larger and adapted to its needs.

The Saint-Cloud racecourse would therefore be one of the strongest options and would gain weight. It belongs to France Galop, a company that organizes equestrian events, and not to Paris City Hall, like the Longchamp and Auteuil racecourses.
The land, large enough to accommodate the stadium and horse races, also has the advantage of offering a view over Paris and the Eiffel Tower, explains the The Team.
