The drug addict who beat the son of a Russian mixed style (MMA) fighter Vyacheslav Datsik was detained in Moscow. This is reported by REN TV.
On the fact of the attack on 16-year-old Yaroslav and his friend, a criminal case was initiated under Articles 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm”) and 213 (“Hooliganism”). According to the source, the detained man had previously been convicted of robbery and a drug article.
On December 23, a drug addict attacked the son of a soldier and his friend at the entrance of a house on Nizhnyaya Syromyatnicheskaya Street. The victims left the scene on their own and asked for the help of doctors. Both minors were hospitalized with bruises and suspected head injury.
Datsik gained popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s. In his first official fight, he knocked out the future champion of the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC) Andrei Orlovsky. Recently, Datsik has been focusing on pop MMA appearances and boxing or kickboxing fights.
The fighter repeatedly had problems with the law, was tried, served a sentence. He was last sentenced to a year in prison for illegally crossing the border with Estonia.
