Tyson Fury predicted his victory in the fight with Alexander Usik
British boxer Tyson Fury spoke about the result of the upcoming fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight boxing champion against Ukrainian Alexander Usik. Sky Sports reports this.
“Why will I win? Because that’s what I do. I win, I win, I win, no matter what. I’ve always done this. It doesn’t matter if it’s by an inch or a mile, I always win,” Fury said.
The fight between Fury and Usik is scheduled for May 18 in the Saudi capital of Riyadh. For the first time in boxing history, four World Boxing Council (WBC), World Boxing Association (WBA), World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF) heavyweight titles will be at stake.
Earlier, the promoter of the fight between the Briton and the Ukrainian warned of a 10 million fine for the boxer, due to whose fault the fight would fail again. “If Usyk refuses the fight, I will arrange a meeting between Fury and Anthony Joshua. If Tyson merges, then I will give Usik any boxer he wants,” said Saudi Advisor to the Royal Court Turki Al ash-Sheikh.
