After beating Manchester United 1-0 this Sunday, Arsenal secured their record number of wins in a Premier League season: 27. The team led by Mikel Arteta continues to fight for the English title, which will now only be decided in the last round.
Arsenal is the owner of three titles in the new phase of the English Championship (since 1993), in 1998, 2002 and the last, undefeated, in 2004. This year’s team stands out for having a campaign with more victories than the three times in which he was champion, and may not lift the cup at the end of the season.

The north London team has accumulated 86 points in 37 matches played and remains at the top of the championship at least until next Tuesday (14), where Manchester City – its title rival – visits Tottenham in a delayed game. The Manchester team has 85 points, but played one less game than the Londoners.
Arsenal will still have the chance to extend their record in the final round, when they host 15th-placed Everton at home. The match takes place on Sunday (19), at 12pm (Brasília time).
