Football player Artem Dzyuba posted a joint photo with hockey player Alexander Ovechkin
Lokomotiv forward Artem Dzyuba posted on Instagram (a social network banned in the Russian Federation; owned by the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and is prohibited) joint photo with Washington Capitals hockey player Alexander Ovechkin.
The footballer shared a selfie in his stories, signing it “Tummy and wood together.” He also duplicated the photo in the feed, accompanying it with the word “Legend” and the song “All of Me” by John Legend.
Ovechkin came to Russia after Washington was eliminated from the National Hockey League (NHL) playoffs in the first round. The Russian did not score points in four elimination matches.
38-year-old Ovechkin has been playing in the NHL since 2005, and throughout his overseas career he has played for Washington. The Russian is also the 2018 Stanley Cup winner. During his career in the league, Ovechkin scored 853 goals in the regular season, which is the second most in history.
