Real Madrid players and coaching staff celebrated this Sunday (12) the club’s 36th title in the Spanish Championship with thousands of fans. Despite the party, the club and fans are looking forward to the Champions League final and the possible arrival of Kylian Mbappé.
Mathematically champions since last weekend, the Merengue team’s players, led by captain Nacho Fernández, displayed the trophy in a bus parade through the center of Madrid.
“It’s a pride and a pleasure to be here before you. It’s a very special day to celebrate this incredible season. Your support was vital in helping us win this 36th title. It’s a magical day, ‘Hala Madrid!'” , celebrated Nacho with the crowd.

Croatian midfielder Luka Modric also took to the microphone to promise fans that the team would return to the same location “after June 1st”, the date of the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund, in London, to celebrate the eventual 15th cup.
“We will give our soul to return”, promised the club’s president, Florentino Pérez, during a reception at the headquarters of the Community of Madrid.
As tradition dictates, Nacho placed a scarf and a flag with Real Madrid colors on the statue of the Greek goddess Cibeles.
Among the thousands of fans gathered, some were already wearing team shirts with Mbappé’s name on them. Others wore scarves with the face of the French star, who announced his departure from Paris Saint-Germain.
Before facing Dordmund at Wembley, Real Madrid will still play three games in the Spanish Championship: against Alavés, Villarreal and Betis.
