Tennis player Djokovic said he experienced headaches after being hit by a bottle
Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic spoke about the consequences of getting hit in the head by a bottle. His words are quoted by France24.
Djokovic admitted that he does not understand what is happening to him. “Today, during a time of severe stress, it was bad – not in terms of pain, but in terms of balance. No coordination. I was a completely different player compared to two days ago,” he said. The athlete added that after the incident he experienced headaches, nausea and dizziness.
On May 10, Djokovic was hit in the head with a bottle after a second round match. When the tennis player was signing autographs, one of the fans accidentally dropped a water bottle from his backpack. He received medical assistance.
The next day, the Serb jokingly came out to the fans wearing a bicycle helmet. After that, on May 12, in the third round match, he lost to Chilean Alejandro Tabilo.
