Valery Nichushkin repeated the NHL record for longest goal streak in the playoffs
Russian forward of the Colorado Avalanche Avalanche Valery Nichushkin scored the puck in the seventh National Hockey League (NHL) playoff game in a row. This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.
The striker scored a goal in the second game of the Western Conference semifinals against the Dallas Stars. The Russian team was defeated with a score of 3:5, after two meetings the score in the confrontation was equal – 1-1.
Nichushkin repeated the NHL record for longest goal streak in the playoffs. American Pat Lafontaine, who set the achievement in 1992, also has seven matches.
Nichushkin played seven matches in the current playoffs. He has nine goals and one assist. The Russian shares first place in the list of best snipers with Canadian Zach Hyman from the Edmonton Oilers.
