He rugby match that they were going to play on June 22 in San Mames the France team and a world team called ‘World XV’ with some of the main figures of the two hemispheres has been suspended “for organizational reasons”, as confirmed by the promoter of this event.
The organizers, who “are working to try to find a new date” for the event, have confirmed that “the full amount of tickets already purchased will be refunded” through the event’s website.
This match was going to be the first of the France team’s summer tour and had the support of Bilbao City Council and the Provincial Council of Bizkaia “to once again host a great international rugby festival” like the one also held in San Mamés in 2018 on the occasion of the two main European club finals, a double event that will be repeated in 2026.
