Borussia Dortmund beat Paris Saint-Germain this Tuesday 1-0 (2-0 on aggregate), at Parque dos Príncipes, in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final and qualified for the final of the competition. This Wednesday, defender Mats Hummels provoked rivals who considered the German club weaker than other teams.
“Many teams wanted to play against us. Fortunately we are good kids and we reached the final so that as many of them as possible have the opportunity,” he said on his social media.
So many teams wanted to play against us. Luckily we are really nice guys and made it to the final so that as many as possible of them get the chance 👀

Hummels was one of Dortmund’s highlights in the clash. In addition to scoring the winning goal in the second leg, the defender was also essential for the team not to concede a goal in the duel.
With the result, the German team returns to the Champions League final after 11 years. The last time they reached the final of the tournament, in 2013, Borussia lost to Bayern Munich 2-1.
Now, Dortmund awaits the clash between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich to find out their opponent in the final. The merengue team and the Bavarian club face each other this Wednesday, at 4pm (Brasília time), at the Santiago Bernabéu, in the second leg of the competition. In the first leg, the game ended in a 2-2 draw.
The final of the continental tournament will be held on June 1st, also at 4pm, at Wembley. Before that, Borussia Dortmund enters the field twice in the German Championship. The next game will be this Saturday, at 1:30 pm, against Mainz 05, away from home.
