He reached the milestone in his last match played for Inter Miami, against the New York Red Bulls, in MLS. On that occasion, he found the back of the net three times, with three assists from Lionel Messi.
His time at Grêmio, in 2023, was quick. In just one season, Suárez scored 29 goals and contributed 17 assists, in addition to winning the Recopa Gaúcha and the Campeonato Gaúcho.
In addition to 500 club goals, Luis Suárez has 68 goals for the Uruguayan national team. He is currently the fourth top scorer in active world football, behind only Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi and Lewandowski.
Seeking to expand these numbers, Suárez returns to the field for Inter Miami next Saturday, at 8:30 pm (Brasília time), against Montréal, in the MLS.
