The Dagestan Wrestling Federation began an inspection after a child was beaten by a coach
The Dagestan Wrestling Federation began an investigation into the beating of a child at a competition in the Orenburg region. This was announced by the director of the organization, Makhmud Magomedov, who was quoted by RIA Novosti.
Magomedov stated that the person who beat the child is not a professional trainer and does not have the appropriate education. According to him, the man attended the competition as a parent and beat his son. “We will take all measures to ensure that he is completely suspended from all sporting competitions. And this punishment should be a serious lesson for everyone,” Magomedov emphasized.
The Minister of Sports of Dagestan, Sazhid Sazhidov, said that Alaudin Ataev, who beat the child, was a “private owner.” He pointed out the need to check the man’s psychological health and added that law enforcement officers were already looking into the situation.
Earlier, a video appeared on social networks showing a man kicking a lying child in a locker room. It was reported that before this, the young athlete was defeated in the tournament.
