Bayern Munich loses to Stuttgart and breaks the streak of three consecutive victories in Alemão

This Saturday morning, in the 31st round of the German Championship, Bayern Munich visited Stuttgart at the MHP Arena and lost 3-1. The Bavarians’ goal was scored by Harry Kane, while Leonidas Stergiou, Jeong Woo-yeong and Silas wrote it down for those who sent it.

Thus, with the negative result, vice-leader Bayern Munich, which no longer has a chance of becoming champion, was left with the same 69 points. In this way, Stuttgart, third placed, reached 67 and touched the team led by Tomas Tuchel. Furthermore, Bayern broke their streak of three consecutive victories in the competition.

Finally, Bayern returns to the pitch next Tuesday, against Real Madrid, in a game valid for the return of the Champions League semi-final. The ball rolls at 4pm (Brasília time), at the Santiago Bernabéu. On the other hand, Stuttgart visits Augsburg on Friday. The game for the 32nd round of Alemão takes place at the SGL Arena, at 3:30 pm (Brasília time).

The goals

The first came at 29 of the opening stage, from the feet of Leonidas Stergiou. The player invaded the area, received it from Deniz Undav and hit Neuer.

Bayern reacted and sought a draw with Harry Kane. At 37, still in the first half, the center forward took advantage of the penalty opportunity and converted the charge.

However, at 38, Jeong Woo-yeong received Silas’ cross and headed it towards the right side of the goal.

Finally, Silas, in stoppage time, received the ball from Serhou Guirassy and, with skill, finished into Neuer’s left corner.
