Metallurg hockey player Yakovlev said that life in Moscow is better than in New York
Russian defender of Metallurg Magnitogorsk Yegor Yakovlev compared life in Moscow and New York. His words are quoted by Maxim Online.
The hockey player said that he had vivid memories of Moscow, but he would not want to live there because of the endless traffic jams. At the same time, he emphasized that New York seemed to him less suitable for life. “Moscow is much cleaner, better, the level of restaurants is much higher, the visuals inside are cooler. Everything there is somehow minimalist, simple,” said 32-year-old Yakovlev.
The athlete is a two-time winner of the Gagarin Cup. In 2018-2019, he played for the New Jersey Devils in the National Hockey League.
At the end of December last year, three-time Olympic champion in figure skating, State Duma deputy Irina Rodnina compared the level of comfort of life in Moscow and New York. She stated that at the moment Moscow is a much better place to live than New York.
