Borussia Dortmund beats PSG in Germany and takes advantage in the Champions League semi-final

This Wednesday, at Signal Iduna Park, in Germany, the Borussia Dortmund won the Paris Saint Germain 1-0 and came out ahead in the semi-final of Champions League. The goal of the duel was scored in the first half by German striker Fullkrug.

Whoever passes this match will face the winner of the duel between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the final, at Wembley. In the first match, the teams drew 2-2 and will return to the pitch next Wednesday, in Spain.

Borussia Dortmund faces Augsburg, this Saturday, at 4pm (Brasília time), at Signal Iduna Park, in the 32nd round of the German Championship. Paris Saint-Germain, in turn, has as its next match the second leg of the Champions League semi-final, next Tuesday, at 4pm, at the Parc des Princes, in France.

The game

The game started very balanced, without many chances for both teams. However, Borussia Dortmund opened the scoring in the 35th minute of the first half. After a beautiful throw from defender Nico Schlotterbeck, Fullkrug dominated, invaded the area and unleashed a rocket, with his left leg, into Donnarumma’s right corner.

At 41 minutes, still in the first half, Lucas Hernandéz was substituted after feeling injured. Thus, Brazilian defender Beraldo, formerly of São Paulo, entered the match.
