Coach Rozier: the only way to beat Beterbiev is to wait until he gets old
American coach Andre Rozier, in an interview with the YouTube channel FightHype.com, named the only way to defeat Russian boxer Artur Beterbiev.
According to Rozier, in order to defeat Beterbiev, you need to wait until he is old. “Beterbiev is a machine for destruction. He does a lot of things well,” he emphasized.
On June 1, Beterbiev will fight with compatriot Dmitry Bivol. The winner will become the undisputed light heavyweight world champion.
In his last fight, Beterbiev defeated Briton Callum Smith by technical knockout in the seventh round. He defended three world titles in the light heavyweight category – according to the World Boxing Council (WBC), the International Boxing Federation (IBF) and the World Boxing Organization (WBO). In total, 39-year-old Beterbiev won 19 victories and did not suffer a single defeat during his career.
