Efimova positively assessed the change of coach of Moscow Spartak
Six-time world champion and three-time Olympic medalist in swimming Yulia Efimova appreciated the decision of the management of the Moscow football club Spartak to change the head coach. Her words are quoted by RB Sport.
According to her, the reshuffle benefited the team. I don’t know if Spartak made the right choice, we’ll see, time will tell. But a new coach is always a good shake-up, a change that can lead to a positive result,” said Efimova.
On April 14, Guillermo Abascal was fired from the post of head coach of Spartak. The duties of the team coach are performed by Vladimir Slishkovich.
After the reshuffle, Spartak played a draw with Zenit in the Russian Cup and with CSKA in the national championship. In addition, the red-whites defeated Rostov and Lokomotiv in the RPL.
