Euskaraz irakurri: Carlos Rodriguezek irabazi du Romandiako Tourra eta Dorioan Godonek azken stage

Carlos Rodríguez (INEOS Grenadiers) was proclaimed winner of the 2024 Tour de Romandie and Dorian Godon (Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale) took the victory in the fifth and final stage with start and end in Vernier (Switzerland).

Rodríguez was not disturbed by his rivals throughout the stage, finishing in 26th place within the peloton and securing first place in the general classification. They completed the podium Aleksander Vlasov (BORA-hansgrohe) who finished second overall, 7 seconds behind the winner and his teammate Florian Lipowitz (BORA-hangrohe) who was third at 9 seconds of Rodriguez.

The victory of the stage was decided by the sprint and in the final meters the best was Dorian Godon. Behind the Frenchman they crossed the finish line Simone Consonni (Lidl-Trek) and Dion Smith (Intermarché-Wanty) second and third respectively.
