Akhmat footballer Berisha said that the head of Chechnya Kadyrov gave him a car
Midfielder of Akhmat Grozny Bernard Berisha named the most valuable gift from the head of the Chechen Republic and honorary president of the club Ramzan Kadyrov. His words are quoted by Sport Express.
A football player from Kosovo said that the gift was a car, but refused to name its brand. Berisha noted that he had not been to Kadyrov’s residence, but hoped to visit there.
Berisha has been playing in Russia since 2017. His contract with the club from Chechnya is valid until June 2025. The Transfermarkt portal estimates his value at 1.2 million euros.
In September 2023, former midfielder of Grozny “Terek” (now “Akhmat”) Dmitry Smirnov spoke about Kadyrov’s gifts. The footballer called him a generous person who doubled bonuses and gave cars.
