Lokomotiv beat Paris NN, scoring twice in stoppage time
Lokomotiv Moscow beat Paris NN in the away match of the 25th round of the RPL. This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.
The meeting in Nizhny Novgorod ended with a score of 3:2 in favor of the guests. By the 90th minute, Lokomotiv was losing 1:2, having conceded twice from the penalty spot. Nikolai Kalinsky scored 11-meter penalties for the hosts both times. The railway workers reduced the gap in the 75th minute, Timur Suleymanov scored. Mikhail Galaktionov’s team was able to equalize in stoppage time, when Anton Miranchuk scored a penalty. In the 96th minute, Alexander Selyanov scored the winning goal for the Muscovites. Lokomotiv’s forward Artem Dzyuba did not take part in the match; he remained in reserve.
Lokomotiv currently ranks fourth in the RPL table with 41 points. Pari NN is in tenth position.
Earlier it was reported that Lokomotiv were disappointed in Artem Dzyuba and had already selected a short list of candidates to replace him. The Moscow club’s contract with the 35-year-old football player expires on June 30, 2024.
