Bremer celebrates Juventus’ qualification in the Coppa Italia: “Our group deserves to play a final”

A Juventus lost to Lazio 2-1 this Tuesday, in Rome, but qualified for the final of the Italian Cup, as they had won the first game 2-0. Brazilian defender Bremer celebrated the classification.

“Obviously we came here with the aim of not losing, but the game was extremely complicated and we couldn’t come out with the victory. But the most important thing was qualifying for the final. Our group has a lot of quality and everyone has been working and trying really hard. We fought hard for this and we deserved to play in the final”, said Bremer.

Now, Juventus will face Fiorentina or Atalanta in the grand final. The two teams enter the field for the second leg of the semifinal this Wednesday. In the first leg, the Florence team won 1-0.

“Just like today’s game, we know that the final will be another very tough match. Fiorentina has been having a very good season, as has Atalanta, who are doing well not only in the Italian League, but in the Europa League. Regardless of who our opponent, we know it will be very difficult, but, just like we did today, we will fight from start to finish to win this title and bring joy to our passionate fans”, he said.

The Brazilian has been one of Juventus’ highlights this season, having even played for the entire 90 minutes in the defeat to Lazio. In total, Bremer has played 78 games for the team – all as a starter – with seven goals and one assist.
