The Red Devils qualified on penalties for the FA Cup final, last Sunday, at Wembley, after drawing 3-3 with Coventry City in normal time. During the game, several athletes suffered injuries and became doubtful for the Premier League duel. This is the case of Alejandro Garnacho, Scott McTominay, Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes.
“We had a problem with Garnacho, so we took him out during the game, but I think he’ll be fine,” Ten Hag said. “Scott McTominay, we have to evaluate today. It (his condition) is really doubtful. Marcus Rashford is also doubtful and then there was a problem with Bruno Fernandes, with his hand. But I think he can do it. So we have some doubts before the game tomorrow”, he concluded.
In addition to them, Sofyan Amrabat, Willy Kambwala and Mason Mount had already been added to the list of absentees before the game at Wembley.
Jonny Evans, Victor Lindelof, Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw are also out of the match against Sheffield United and Brazilian Casemiro is the main candidate to play at centre-back. In attack, Anthony Martial remains absent.
