The head coach of the Zarechye-Odintsovo beach volleyball team near Moscow, Natalya Uryadova, revealed the details of the death of club player Arina Mikhailina. Her words are quoted by Gazeta.Ru.
According to the specialist, the athlete broke up with her boyfriend on the day of the tragedy. “Judging by what he read or heard in response on the phone, he considered it necessary to call an ambulance,” Uryadova noted.
She added that she has no complaints about the arriving doctors. “They just talked to her like a human being, gave her some tea – well, that was it, the challenge was accepted, nothing bad happened. It was impossible, of course, to leave her in this state,” the coach said.
The death of the athlete became known on April 22. She was 21 years old. The volleyball player was found on the evening of April 21 near a hostel in the southeast of Moscow. Doctors were unable to save Mikhailina.
