Jaime Busto wins in Benahavís and regains the lead in the Spanish Trial Championship

The Biscayan pilot Jaime Busto was declared the winner this Sunday in the Benahavis Trialfourth qualifying event for the Spain Championship held in said town in Malaga. Busto achieved the final victory with only “three feet” after the 24 zones disputed, a result that allows him to regain the lead in the Spanish Trial Championship, ahead of the Galician pilot. Gabriel Marcelliwhich also occupied second position in this event.
Jaime Busto started the day performing ten of the twelve zones of the first lap without making any errors, while he was penalized with one point in zone two and with two points in zone three. He added another three points for being late over the time set by the organization, and placed first in the provisional general standings with six points. In the second round, he accumulated two more points for delay, so he finished the test with eight points and the final victory.
With this result, Jaime Busto regains the lead in the Spanish Trial Championship with 74 points, followed in the classification by Gabriel Marcelli and the Catalan Adam Raga, with 74 and 54 points, respectively.
