Fraudsters deceived Spartak football player Leon Klassen out of 900 thousand rubles
Fraudsters deceived the German defender of Moscow “Spartak” Leon Klassen out of 900 thousand rubles. This was reported by the Baza Telegram channel.
According to the source, the footballer was contacted via WhatsApp on behalf of his friend and asked to borrow 400 thousand. He transferred the amount, and the next day they asked him for another 700 thousand. Klassen was able to transfer only 500 thousand, since there was a limit on his card.
After some time, the 23-year-old athlete demanded the money back from his friend, on whose behalf the scammers were acting, and found out the truth. After this, the football player contacted the police.
Klassen is a native of Germany and a product of German football. He has a Russian passport, so the defender plays for the Russian youth team. The footballer moved to Spartak in December 2021. He is also known for his performances for Munich 1860 and the Austrian Tyrol.
