A scandal in Krasnaya Polyana. The jumpers are permanently thrown out of the hill. “Incomprehensible”

Russkiy Gorky. It is a ski jump complex built on which in 2014 took place in the town of Krasna Polana, 50 km away from Sochi. It was there that he reached for gold medals. And that would be it, because it was the last international competition that took place on these hills.

This is the biggest problem for the complex in Krasnaya Polyana

– The Olympic complex looks like a modern Mercedes, in which there is no one to pour gasoline and make it work as it should – said Vladimir Sławski, a Russian activist associated with ski jumping and the Norwegian combination for many years, quoted a year ago by the portal .

Earlier – in fact, right after the Olympics – it was pointed out that the biggest problem with the Krasnaya Polyana complex is that it lacks small training hills. – The essence of the problem is not complicated at all, but unfortunately no one wants to deal with it – Sławski, currently vice-president of the Russian Ski Jumping Federation and the Norwegian Combination, spread his hands.

Sławski added that there are real reasons for the expansion of the ski jump complex. – To do this, first of all, the 20 and 40-meter jumps should be built and the hotel located on the premises of this complex has to be put into operation. The approximate cost of building a hill with an elevator and stands is 140 million rubles, and the modernization of the hotel is 48 million rubles, Sławski enumerated.

Yet another year has passed, and the landscape in Krasnaya Polyana is still the same. And even worse, because Adrian Dworakowski has just informed that a new owner of the Olympic ski jumps has appeared, who threw the local team from its home along with its equipment and forbidden to use the jump for any purpose. At the same time, he refused to explain.

“Nobody threw our things on the street”

There is no point in finding these explanations in the Russian media. The tramplin.perm.ru portal only quotes Sławski, who confirms that the facilities, on the orders of the government, were transferred to the management of the Sirius educational center and that this decision was enthusiastically received by the community. And what happened last week, i.e. the expulsion of about 50 people from the sports school from the facilities, Sławski describes only as incomprehensible.

The portal also cites Sergei Zyrianov, senior coach of the Krasnodar national team. – Of course, no one threw our things on the street, we actually took them ourselves. Sirius asked us to leave all the cloakrooms and vacate our premises. Specifically, we were asked by Ms Korotayeva, one of the representatives at the facility, who told us not to return to her – said Zyrianov.
