Russian Andrey Rublev dropped from sixth to eighth place in the ATP rankings
Russian Andrey Rublev dropped two places in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings. The updated list is presented on the organization’s website.
Rublev moved from sixth to eighth place in the ranking. The Russian was unable to defend his title at the Masters Series tournament in Monte Carlo, dropping out in the second round and losing 955 points. He was surpassed in the list by the finalists of the competition – the winner – the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas (seventh place) and the Norwegian Kasper Ruud (sixth place).
The leader of the ranking is still Serbian Novak Djokovic. Next are Italian Jannik Sinner, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, Russian Daniil Medvedev and German Alexander Zverev.
Russian Karen Khachanov remained in 17th place. Roman Safiullin rose to 38th position.
