Artur was sold by Palmeiras to Zenit in January this year. The striker debuted for the new team only in March, and since then he has accumulated good games in European lands. There, he teamed up with well-known names in Brazilian football such as Claudinho, Pedro and Wendel.

Artur was revealed by Palmeiras and made his professional debut for Verdão in 2016. After not receiving many chances, the striker was loaned to Bahia where he had a good spell. In 2020 he was sold by Alviverde to RB Bragantino where he remained for three years and had great prominence. Last year, Palmeiras repurchased the athlete from the Bragança Paulista team.
