The center forward competed for the award for the second time in a row. In the first, he lost to Danish Rasmus Hojlund, from Manchester United.
In total, Rodrigo Muniz scored eight goals in 20 games in the current Premier League season. The Brazilian is one of those responsible for Fulham’s good championship, which occupies 13th place in the English league and is far from the relegation zone.
Furthermore, it is the first time that a Brazilian athlete has won the award since 2016, when Spanish-born striker Diego Costa was named the best player of the month of November.
Rodrigo Muniz and Fulham take to the field this Sunday, at 10am (Brasília time), against West Ham, away from home, in the 33rd round of the English Championship.
