The specialist suggested starting with hanging leg raises. It can be done on gymnastic rings or a horizontal bar. The exercise is performed as follows: hanging by your hands, raise your legs until they are parallel to the floor, and then slowly lower them back. In this case, the abdominal muscles should be involved, and not the back or hips.

Next, Yurpalova suggested working out the abs using a plank. To do this, just lie on the floor and hold your body in a horizontal position on straight arms or elbows. The main thing in this exercise is a straight back and tension in the press. “Also add a side plank to your routine. In this variation of the exercise, you lean on one arm and the side of one foot. This plank will help strengthen the oblique abdominal muscles,” the trainer added.
In addition, the expert recommended doing crunches. She said that these could be crunches in a lying or sitting position, with leg lifts, or others. At the same time, according to Yurpalova, the emphasis should be on contracting the abdominal muscles, and not on the number of repetitions.
