Thomas Bach on Russia’s attitude towards the IOC: for them we are now a fascist organization
President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach, in a conversation with pranksters Vovan (Vladimir Kuznetsov) and Lexus (Aleksey Stolyarov), assessed Russia’s attitude towards the organization. Quotes are given in the pranksters’ Telegram channel.
“The Russian side is very aggressive towards the IOC. You know, for them we are now a fascist organization,” said Bach. He added that some Russian athletes will compete at the 2024 Olympic Games.
The pranksters also forced Bach and the Vice-President of the European Commission, Margaritis Schinas, to pray in honor of “Saints Vovan and Lexus” to disrupt the World Friendship Games. Earlier, the head of the IOC warned that participants in the Friendship Games, which will be held in September 2024 in Moscow and Yekaterinburg, may have problems with the Olympics.
In December 2023, the IOC allowed Russians and Belarusians to participate in the Olympics in Paris as individual neutral athletes. At the same time, athletes who support a special operation in Ukraine, as well as those who have connections with the armed forces or security agencies of Russia and Belarus, will not be allowed to participate in the competition. In addition, representatives of team sports will miss the tournament.
