Football players of the Ukrainian “Dynamo” and “Shakhtar” received reservations from mobilization

The Ministry of Sports of Ukraine included football players from five clubs in the list of those exempt from mobilization. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Strana.ua publication.

According to the source, players from Dynamo Kyiv, Shakhtar, Dnepr-1, Obolon and Kryvbas received reservations. It is noted that the teams received the status of critical for the functioning of the economy and ensuring the livelihoods of the population. The order is dated March 27.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky signed a law creating a register of those liable for military service. According to the document, the list will include the data of men and women from 18 to 60 years old.

In November 2023, the League reported that 309 athletes and coaches who left Ukraine after February 24, 2022, had not returned to the country. The number of athletes and specialists who fled amounted to 3.41 percent of all those who left Ukraine to represent the country at international competitions and training camps.
