Footballer Zhigulev said that he made money on the exchange rate after the start of the SVO
Paris Nizhny Novgorod midfielder Ilya Zhigulev spoke about big earnings on the exchange rate after the start of the SVO. His words are quoted by Sport24.
At the time the special operation began, Zhigulev was a player of the Polish Zaglebie. The athlete stated that his salary came to his foreign account at Sberbank.
“Then they told me that this could cause problems, so I made a card from their local bank. After February 24, the exchange rate jumped a lot, and I bought rubles with all the euros that were on Sberbank,” Zhigulev shared, adding that at that moment the euro cost 129 rubles, and it turned out to be a plus.
Zhigulev played for Zaglebie from August 2021 to April 2022. He joined Pari NN in August 2022. This season, the midfielder has played 16 matches in all competitions, scoring one assist.
