The right side of the Paris Saint Germain Nordi Mukiele, who suffered a head injury against Clermont on Saturday in a Ligue 1 game, is out of the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, this Wednesday, against Barcelona. The information was provided this Monday to AFP by a source close to the French club.
The same source added that the decision was made after the player underwent neurological examinations.
Mukiele had to leave the field on Saturday after a clash in an aerial ball dispute with Clermont goalkeeper Massamba Ndiaye, in accordance with concussion protocol, and was replaced by Moroccan Achraf Hakimi after just 13 minutes.

Nordi Mukiele, who also plays as a defender, has only started seven times this season.
In the absence of Achraf Hakimi, suspended for the match against Barça on Wednesday at the Parque dos PrÃncipes, Mukiele hoped to occupy the right-back position.
PSG’s Spanish coach, Luis Enrique, will have to find a solution to compensate for these absences. He could choose Warren Zaïre-Emery or move captain Marquinhos to the side.
