With the return of Vini Jr., Real Madrid announces links to the duel with Manchester City

This Monday morning, Real Madrid announced the 23 athletes listed for the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals against Manchester City, which will take place this Tuesday, at 4pm (Brasília time). Vinicius Júnior, who was absent from the team in the last match due to suspension, will be available to coach Carlo Ancelotti.

The Spanish team will only have two absences for the duel. While goalkeeper Courtois is recovering from a torn meniscus in his right knee, defender Alaba has an injury to the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

One of the good news from Carlo Ancelotti is that Brazilian defender Éder Militão has recovered from a serious knee injury and was again involved in the last game, against Athletic Bilbao. He entered the field in the final minutes and will be available again against Manchester City.

This Monday, Real Madrid finished its preparations for the clash with the English. After warming up, the players, under Ancelotti’s command, carried out tactical training and went through a reduced field activity. Finally, they worked on goal kicks and free kicks.

Real Madrid and Manchester City face each other this Tuesday, at 4pm (Brasília time), at the Santiago Bernabéu, in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
